The Phoenix Iron Pards is a group of authentic reenactors dedicated to accurately portraying the common soldier in the Federal Army during the Civil War. We strive to preserve the history and honor of the thousands that fought and died to preserve this great country.
The PIP was formed as a mess between two members in 2000. Since then we have grown to over a dozen members from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. We participate in living histories, battlefield preservation events, memorial services, immersion/first person events, marches, and battle reenactments.
We are currently an independent group, forming a company with other authentic organizations at larger events. We continue to do events across the country with some of the finest organizations in the country including the Hardtack Society, Southern Guard, Liberty Rifles, and the Army of the Pacific.
